Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or loads them into the dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, maintaining sanitation standards.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Follows safety procedures at all times.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keeps the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold safety and sanitation.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans trash cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
