Job Overview

The dish steward is responsible for washing, drying, and storing all dishes from the kitchen and banquets. They may also assist with light food prep work in the kitchen.

Essential Job Functions

  • Cleaning all dishes and cookware from the kitchen and restaurant
  • Drying and storing all dishes and cookware
  • Maintaining proper chemical solutions in the dish area
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Assisting with prep cooking as needed
  • Completing miscellaneous tasks as assigned
