Job summary

The RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul is hiring immediately for a Dishwasher. This role focuses on keeping the kitchen areas, storerooms, and equipment clean and organized, and assisting with transporting food, china, and supplies between storage and work zones.

You will wash dishes by hand or via the dishwashing machine, unload and load clean utensils, and cooperate with your supervisor on supply needs and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash by hand or machine, and clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Transport supplies between storage and work areas and return clean items to storage.
• Maintain close communication with supervisor on supply needs and equipment maintenance.
• Segregate trash, remove garbage, and keep interior/exterior areas clean.
• Load and unload trucks delivering food and supplies.

The RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul is hiring immediately for a Dishwasher.

This position performs dishwashing activities with primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storerooms, and equipment, and for transporting food, china, and equipment between storage and work areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Scrapes food from dirty dishes, racks china, glassware and flatware and washes by hand or on dishwashing machine.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans and trays.
• Transports supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Returns all clean kitchen utensils and equipment to proper storage location. Cleans kitchen equipment.
• Maintains close communication with supervisor, including supply needs and maintenance of all equipment.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage, and places in designated containers. Takes out trash and recycling. Cleans and maintains interior and exterior trash area. Sweeps and mops floors.
• Loads and/or unloads trucks picking up or delivering food and supplies.
