Purpose

The Dishwasher's responsibility is to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout their assigned area.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards exceeding Federal, State, and Local standards.
2. Set-up, operate, and clean kitchen machinery safely, storing equipment properly.
3. Clean and sanitize food service and preparation areas.
4. Scrape/spray ware before washing, rack china and glassware, and ensure all ware is clean and sanitary.
5. Take out trash, sweep floors, and maintain a dry, spill-free environment.
6. Practice proper food handling, store ware properly, and maintain equipment through preventative maintenance.
7. Assist with loading/unloading equipment and maintain a neat workstation.
8. Move furniture and equipment as directed, comply with safety and health procedures, and ensure proper checkout procedures.
9. Report equipment failures or safety hazards immediately.
10. Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., valid driver’s license, 18+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety procedures, and communicate effectively in English.

Working Conditions

• Indoor/outdoor work, exposure to heat, cold, steam, wet floors, noise, crowds, and smoke.
• Fast-paced, high-volume environment with varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, stand for long periods, handle objects, repeat movements, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
