JOB SUMMARYThe dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOperates dish washing machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and food service equipment.Sets up and cleans dish washing machine area and refills required chemicals as necessary.Stores clean equipment and utensils.Assists in maintaining sanitary conditions for food prep and service.Empties garbage in dumpster.Sweeps and mops floors.May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffing.Performs other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMust be 18 years oldAble to read English and follow verbal instructions in EnglishPrevious experience preferred.
