Job summary

FLIK Independent School Dining is hiring for full-time and part-time dishwasher positions at John Burroughs School, Saint Louis, MO. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with no weekends or nights and a pay range of $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements include prior dishwashing experience; prep cooking experience is a plus. Perks include free shift meals, full uniforms, growth opportunities, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience required.
• Prep cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays following procedures to ensure sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate tools and maintains cleanliness.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure sanitation and safety.
