Job summary

FLIK Independent School Dining is seeking a full-time Dishwasher at Wooster School in Danbury, CT. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, following the school calendar with summers and spring break off. No prior experience is required and training will be provided.

Perks include uniforms, meals, and safety equipment; an employee referral bonus is also offered. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in sanitary condition.
• Washes pots, pans and trays following procedures; ensures cleanliness.
• Polishes silver using appropriate tools; maintains sanitation.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading.
