Position Summary

Dishwashers keep the restaurant running smoothly by ensuring all equipment and supplies are clean, sanitized, and organized.

Essential Functions

• Provide clean, sanitized utensils, dishware, glassware, and equipment.
• Set up and close down the dish machine properly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the dish machine.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools adhering to sanitation procedures.
• Manage trash, sweep, mop floors, and assist with prep duties as needed.
• Assist with deliveries and stock shelves following safety and hygiene standards.
• Supply the line and bar with necessary items.
• Complete opening, shift change, and closing checklists.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Good communication, friendly, and people-oriented.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask.
• Basic math skills.

Qualification Standards

• Stand for 100% of the shift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and working indoors and outdoors.
• Work in hot, damp environments, handling chemicals, knives, and hot items safely.
