Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses the dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and maintains cleanliness of garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
