Job Title: Dishwasher/Receiver at SUSHISAMBA GROUP

Job Responsibilities
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars.
  • Sweep and scrub floors.
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
  • Set up banquet tables.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Work to ensure the proper care of dishware, cutlery, and equipment to minimize breakage.
  • Receive and put away produce and proteins.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a related field, preferably in hotels or restaurants, is a plus.
  • Flexible with long hours sometimes required.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift.
  • Ability to exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
