Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Prep Level I in Homer, AK to support kitchen operations by washing, disinfecting and restocking dishware, glassware and cookware during high-volume service.

You will assist with light janitorial duties, learn sanitation standards and, once trained and cleared by the Head Chef, help with basic food preparation tasks such as cleaning and peeling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work in hot and humid environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial dishwasher to wash and disinfect dishes and cookware.
• Return clean items to proper locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area.
• Troubleshoot dishwasher and manage supplies.
• Monitor inventory and restock cleaning supplies.
• Perform side work and general cleaning tasks.
• Handle and mix cleaning chemicals safely.
• Clean grease trap periodically.
• Assist with simple food prep after training.
• Pass Kitchen sanitation test.
