Rivers Co-op Markets in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Dishwasher / Prep Cook to wash dishes, prep ingredients, and keep the kitchen clean and stocked while complying with safety standards. This union position is located at 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106.

The role includes dishwashing, food preparation, and maintaining a clean kitchen with adherence to health and safety rules. Schedule consists of 3–4 shifts of 6–8 hours weekly, including weekends.

Position Summary:

Dishwasher / Prep Cooks will wash dishes and utensils, prepare ingredients for cooking, and ensure the kitchen is clean and well-stocked while following safety and quality standards.

Duties include dishwashing, food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

This is a union position.

Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106

Schedule: 3 - 4 shifts of 6-8 hours (24 - 28 hours total) per week including weekends.

Physical and Working Requirements:

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the kitchen and storage areas. Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Dishwashers/ Prep Cooks constantly prepare and handle items and may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Dishwashers/ Prep Cooks will utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives and mixers. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person. Additionally, Dishwashers/ Prep Cooks will occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises.
