The Retail Supervisor contributes to the Goodwill mission by leading our retail stores and donation sites to achieve their overall goals. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, managing register efficiency, achieving daily production goals, providing excellent customer service, and developing associates. Use your experience and skills to train, motivate, and lead your team to create a customer-centric store and donation environment. Collaborate with your team to achieve sales and production goals that ensure store success.

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Implement strategies to meet organizational and retail store goals. Develop, revise, and sustain policies, procedures, and programs. Typically work on projects spanning 3-12 months.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Project and Change Management: Plan and manage your work to complete routine responsibilities and special assignments. Serve as a team member or subject matter expert on projects. Communicate effectively about change, following through on learning and skill development.
2. Problem Solving: Work independently with light supervision. Resolve problems of moderate to advanced complexity by identifying root causes, interpreting data, and implementing solutions.
3. Technical Skills: Apply professional principles and skills within your area to modify processes and resolve issues.
4. Community Engagement: Promote Goodwill's community initiatives and serve as an ambassador.
5. Maximize the value of donated goods and maintain store standards.
6. Coordinate proper rotation of goods to ensure a steady flow of merchandise.
7. Support training and coaching of employees to maximize productivity and teamwork. Ensure adequate coverage at POS and in donations.
8. Assist with hiring processes, including phone screens, interviews, orientations, and training.
9. Function as a Service Experience Leader (SEL).
