Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and stocks all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler; sweeps and mops.
• Empties trash and disposes of garbage properly.
• Performs daily cleaning including dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores wares in proper areas and maintains sanitation standards.
• Communicates equipment repair needs with the chef and follows safe work practices.
• Performs light food preparation as needed.
• Dresses and maintains professional relationships with team members.
• Supports the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Cleans, washes and sanitizes all dishes, cleans kitchen after close.
• Light food prep.
• Learns and maintains standards in food production and quality.
• Practices excellent operational sanitation.
• Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.
• Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to read and speak English maybe required in order to perform the duties of the job.
• Must be willing towork nights, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and Reliable attendance.
