Little Mamas Italian Kitchen in Cornelius is expanding its kitchen and seeking hardworking, team-oriented individuals for a hybrid dishwasher/prep role. You’ll help keep dishes clean and assist with prep tasks to support the culinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine; maintain clean and sanitized dishes and kitchenware.
• Monitor dish machine performance to ensure proper sanitation and prevent breakage.
• Assist with food prep duties (chopping, portioning, stocking) as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and kitchen areas and follow safety standards.
• Support the team to ensure smooth operations and a safe workspace.

Little Mamas Italian is expanding to Cornelius, and we are looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our kitchen and help us maintain our high standards as we continue to grow.

This hybrid role combines dishwashing responsibilities with food prep duties, making you a key part of our kitchen’s success. You’ll help keep operations running smoothly while supporting the culinary team with prep tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing Duties:

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently
• Maintain clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Monitor dish machine performance to ensure proper sanitation
• Handle all dishware carefully to prevent breakage

Prep Cook Support:

• Assist with food prep (chopping, portioning, stocking)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and kitchen areas
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

All kitchen positions are required to:

• Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines
