Position: Dishwasher and Stocker

Our Dishwashers and Stockers are essential to our restaurant operations, handling tasks such as maintaining clean tableware and dishes for the dining room and kitchen, supporting a safe and sanitary workplace, and assisting with occasional food preparation and silverware roll-ups. This entry-level position is a vital part of our growing company and often the first step when hiring new chefs.

Responsibilities of our Dishwasher and Stocker Team Members:

• Load, operate, and unload the dishwashing machine according to specifications
• Maintain sufficient levels of clean tableware and dishes
• Wash and store all kitchenware and tableware
• Roll clean silverware in linen for table settings
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and report mechanical issues
• Monitor water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycles
• Keep the dish room organized and clean
• Manage linen and trash containers, emptying as needed
• Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop kitchen and dining floors
• Identify and address hazards such as broken items or wet areas
• Handle items carefully to prevent breakage
• Follow proper hygiene and food safety procedures
• Sanitize food prep and production areas as required
• Maintain sanitation buckets with proper solutions
• Be flexible during shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Rotate and stock dishes to reduce resource wear
• Assist kitchen staff, especially during peak times
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance
• Contribute positively to team environment
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications for Dishwasher and Utility Team Members:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort with bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and working with hands in wet conditions
• Reliable transportation, as shifts can extend up to 2 hours after restaurant closing
