Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support our kitchen team. You will be responsible for washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment.

The position offers shift availability from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 7:30pm, with a friendly work environment, opportunities to learn, and the chance to contribute to a smooth, clean dining operation for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
