Role Overview

At Soho House, a Dishwasher (Porter) supports kitchen operations by organizing and cleaning dishes such as pots, pans, silverware, dishware, glassware, and kitchen equipment. Porters maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and ensure proper storage of dishes.

A successful Porter proactively completes tasks like discarding rubbish, operating industrial dishwashers, and supporting the Chef on Duty when needed.

Main Duties

• Rinse, clean, organize, and stock pots, pans, silverware, dishware, and glassware to support daily operations
• Follow health and safety policies and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Adhere to checklists and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment
• Dispose of rubbish, mop, and organize dishware and silverware
• Practice proper handling to limit breakage and manage inventory
• Perform any additional duties as assigned and collaborate with team members as needed
