Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Los Angeles is seeking a per diem Dishwasher to join our dining service team. You will be responsible for sanitation, cleaning of the kitchen, and ensuring dishes and utensils are ready for use. Weekend shifts are included.

The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and follows directions. You will operate the dish machine, clean equipment, and help maintain a safe, organized kitchen environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.

Looking to cover 2 to 3 shifts per week to include a weekend day.

As a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and follows direction well.
