Position Summary

Events by RHC is looking to hire a Part-time Dishwasher:

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18 to $19.

About the Venue

EVENTS BY RHC IS A BOUTIQUE OFF-PREMISE CATERER BASED IN NEW YORK CITY. Inspired by international cuisine, modern dining and exceptional service, we proudly bring a modern take to event dining.

Responsibilities
  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes; carry clean dishes to proper storage areas.
  • Assist in areas in the kitchen when needed.
  • Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, cutting boards, and other food prep surfaces.
  • Removes trash and places it in designated containers. At end of shift puts trash outside in designated areas.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimal work experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
  • Flexible shift hours (Sunday required).
