Job Title: Dishwasher

We are hiring immediately for a part-time Dishwasher position at Canteen.

Location: Canteen - 2023 Hasty Street, Monroe, NC 28112. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Monday through Saturday, 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. More details provided upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Range: $12.00 to $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in racks or conveyor to dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays based on procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors for safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and maintains cleanliness of garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
