Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support our kitchen operations in Ohio. The role involves morning or afternoon shifts with responsibilities including dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and sanitizing kitchen areas to maintain a clean dining environment.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to work in a team, and capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Clean dish room and equipment, including floors, mats, dishwasher, and stainless steel surfaces.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and other kitchen areas.

Job Description

Schedule: Part-Time. Mornings or Afternoons.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher, and shining stainless steel
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and other areas pertaining to kitchen

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• Must be aself-starter
• Must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours
• Must be able to lift, carry up to 30 lbs., and push or pull up to 40 lbs.
