Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking to hire immediately for a part-time Dishwasher position located at Duolingo, Pittsburgh. The pay range is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, with hours scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining an orderly and sanitary kitchen environment, washing dishes and utensils, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Previous dishwashing or receiving experience is preferred.

Compensation

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and related kitchen items in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains compliance with safety procedures and standards; keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Keeps temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Removes trash, empties and cleans designated containers, and assists with cleaning of work areas.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; assists with loading and unloading as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
