Restaurant Associates is hiring for a full-time dishwasher at Penn Museum in Philadelphia, PA. Location: 3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Schedule rotates between 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with weekend availability; online applications accepted only.

Previous food service experience is required, and training will be provided. Perks include a free shift meal and a uniform. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience and shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Washes dishes and related items; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Operates washing equipment and maintains cleanliness of the dish area.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
