• Location: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center - 200 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28204. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; days and hours may vary. Eight-hour shifts. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior sanitation, janitorial, utility, food service, or customer service experience required.
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrape and rinse food from dishes; wash by hand or use dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays thoroughly.
• Polish silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keep dish area clean and safe.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and clean trash cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
