Sheraton Galleria Atlanta is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to join our refreshed kitchen team. The role focuses on cleaning dishes, utensils, and cookware while maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

You will support daily food and beverage operations in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. Candidates with prior kitchen or dishwashing experience are welcome; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Capable of following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep the dish area clean and organized.
• Store clean dishes and maintain proper waste disposal.

Are you passionate about hospitality and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen? We're looking for a Dishwasher to join our culinary team in a newly renovated, vibrant environment! As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play an important role in supporting daily food and beverage operations by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dishwashing area, kitchen, and designated storage spaces.
• Ensure clean dishes and equipment are properly stored and readily available to support kitchen operations.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain proper waste disposal procedures.
• Assist with maintaining kitchen floors, work surfaces, and other areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Support the culinary team with basic kitchen tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, and sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

• Previous dishwashing, kitchen, or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and food safety practices preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies and equipment as needed.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
