Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Santa Rosa is seeking an on-call Dishwasher to support our Ivy Park at Santa Rosa community. The role ensures dishes are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly, supporting a five-star standard of service for our residents.

Pay ranges from $18.25 to $19.25 per hour, depending on experience. The event-style shift offers benefits and opportunities within a premier senior living group across California, with a focus on teamwork and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer six (6) months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Must interact respectfully with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen after meals; wash and sanitize.
• Return clean dishes to storage areas.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and sanitation of dish room and dining areas.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional, caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with coworkers and other departments.

The Dishwasher

is responsible for ensuring that dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored at all times, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport all dishes to the kitchen following meal preparation and mealtimes. Clear, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils. Return clean dishes and utensils to appropriate storage areas.
• Assist with breaking down the kitchen for clean-up. Perform general clean-up and sanitation clean-up of the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains. Empty the trash.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
