Job Opening: Dishwasher

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for on-call Dishwasher positions at Portland Medical Providence Health, located at 4805 North East Glisan Street, Portland, OR 97213. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: On-call, with days and hours varying. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Preferably, 1 year of previous dishwashing experience.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a sanitary and organized manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Scraping, rinsing, and washing dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washing pots, pans, and trays as per procedures.
• Polishing silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Following safety procedures and maintaining proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeping the dish area clean and safe, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
• Properly disposing of trash and cleaning garbage cans.
• Transferring supplies and assisting with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
