Job description

We are an easy-going restaurant with friendly staff and managers. Everyone treats each other with respect, and our dishwashers receive tips. We also offer opportunities for growth.

Role purpose: Dishwashers are vital for maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant, ensuring all silverware, glassware, kitchenware, and tableware are cleaned efficiently. They also keep other areas like the dining floor, kitchen, bathrooms, and preparation areas tidy, and handle trash disposal safely.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and wash all dishes and utensils promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
  • Ensure the sanitation of other restaurant areas such as bathrooms and prep stations.
  • Handle trash disposal responsibly and safely.
  • Perform additional side duties as required before, during, and after shifts.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: One year of dishwashing experience.
  • Ability to handle, clean, and wash all restaurant ware hygienically and safely.
  • Ability to work with sharp and potentially dangerous tools safely.
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and instructions.
Working conditions

Primarily indoor kitchen environment handling various food products. Candidates with allergies should inform management. Employees must stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 65 lbs. Gloves and chemicals are used during work.
