Job summary

Eurest in Milwaukee is hiring a full-time dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, and prep areas. The role involves working Monday through Friday mornings, with emphasis on sanitation and safe handling of kitchen equipment.

Experience with dishwashing is preferred; knowledge of safety standards and ability to work quickly in a busy kitchen is valuable. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities through Eurest.

Qualifications

• Dishwashing experience preferred.
• Prep work experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays following assigned procedures and maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using equipment as required and ensures cleanliness.
• Adheres to safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and cleans work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Removes trash and handles disposal.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas and assists in loading/unloading.
