Job summary

Bally's Black Hawk is seeking a dishwashing teammate to keep dishware clean, organized, and ready for service. You will handle washing of dishes, glassware, and silverware, maintain the dish area and storage, and assist with trash disposal and area sanitation.

Position requires a High School diploma, good English communication, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits and perks are provided; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overall upkeep and storage of dirty and clean dishes; ensure cleanliness of dish machine area and pot/pan area.
• Wash all dishes, glassware, and silverware; ensure they are clean, dry and spot free.
• Keep dish area, machine, and racks clean and organized.
• Stock all clean dishes in storage locations.
• Take trash out of garbage cans and transport to the dumpster; replace liners.
• Drain dish machine and disassemble parts for cleaning.
• Sweep and mop every shift or as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Maintain proper PPE and chemicals; keep supplies topped up.
• Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
• Wash all dishes, glassware, and silverware, making sure they are clean, dry and spot free.
• Keep dish area, machine, and racks clean and organized.
• Stock all clean dishes in storage locations.
• Take trash out of garbage cans and transport to the dumpster. Replacing all can liners.
• Drain dish machine and disassemble parts for cleaning.
• Sweep and mopevery shift or as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Keeping chemicals full and replacing them when needed using the proper PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all promotions and events.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
• Respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to recognize potential food hazards.
• This position is working with standard kitchen equipment, in coolers and freezers, sometimes slippery floors.
• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
