Job description

We are looking for a motivated Dishwasher to join our team! You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and other serviceware, as well as assist in maintaining clean work areas and restaurant equipment.

Job Overview
Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, washing by hand or loading dishwasher and appropriately. The dishwasher will also be responsible for helping with the overall cleanliness of the store, this will include bathrooms, taking trash out, and moping and sweeping.

Responsibilities:
· Ability to show up to work on time. Tardiness should be reported to the Executive Chef. Tardiness of more than 5 minutes should be reported to direct supervisor via phone call or text message.

· Ability to communicate any need for time off. Requests need to be submitted two weeks in advance and cannot be made between November 1st and December 31st.

· Must have ability to lift 25lbs or more.

· Ability to stand/walk for 8 or more hours per shift.

· Maintains a clean and sanitary workspace.

· Opens and closes kitchen/store properly by following any checklists for store.

· Preforms other related duties assigned by key management.

· Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.

· Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and communicate with Executive chef when necessary.

· Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues.

· Remove garbage regularly.

· Sanitize the kitchen/bathroom/front end area, including the floor.
