Job Summary

The role involves maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes; wash by hand or use dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Wash pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, maintaining sanitation standards.
3. Polish silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness.
4. Follow safety procedures diligently.
5. Maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keep dish area tidy and compliant with safety standards.
7. Sweep and mop kitchen floors for sanitation.
8. Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
9. Remove trash and clean garbage cans.
10. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
