Job summary

Westminster Communities in Lakeland, FL is seeking a part-time Dishwasher / Dish Utility to support kitchen operations. You will wash dishes, assist cooks, and maintain sanitation across kitchen stations, contributing to a safe and welcoming dining environment.

The role requires six months of high-volume dining experience, basic sanitation knowledge, and English language skills; Florida Safe Staff certification is preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience in a high-volume dining environment.
• Understanding of basic sanitation practices including use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Florida Safe Staff certification required or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, glassware, flatware and pots/pans; assist with pot washing.
• Keep kitchen stations and surfaces clean and sanitized; handle trash removal.
• Maintain temperature and sanitation logs according to standards.
• Restock shelves for meal service and assist with unloading deliveries.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisor.
