Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is hiring a Dishwasher to join our dining service team. You will be responsible for sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen, keeping dishes and utensils clean, sanitized, and properly stored. The role requires reliability, hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting seniors to thrive as they age.

Shifts include 7am-3pm, 12pm-8:30pm, and 4pm-9pm with weekend work. Walk-in interviews Tuesdays 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
