Terrain Café, part of the URBN family, is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team in a fast-paced kitchen. The role emphasizes cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork as you ensure dishes and equipment are sanitized and ready for service.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50+ lbs in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to stand, bend, reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in hot, wet, and loud environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability—mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.

Responsabilités

• Operate dish machines and sanitize all dishes, tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Wash, organize, and store dishware properly.
• Handle dishes and glassware carefully to avoid breakage.
• Monitor dish machine performance and report issues to kitchen leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish pit, floors, prep stations, and trash/recycling areas.
• Remove trash and recyclables; keep dumpster area clean and tidy.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing sinks, ovens, and surfaces.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized.
• Support the kitchen team by assisting with deliveries, prep work, and maintenance.
• Stay productive during slower periods by maintaining high cleanliness and organization.
• Take direction from chefs, supervisors, and managers.
