Qualifications

• No prior restaurant experience required.
• Basic sanitation and safety can be learned on the job.

Responsibilities

• Dish room maintenance and organization.
• Report to work well-groomed in clean uniform and with good hygiene.
• Load and unload washer trays; rinse and stock dishes for kitchen staff.
• Wash pots and pans in three-compartment sink; air-dry and store properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area and prep stations; sweep and mop as needed.
• Perform side work during downtime: roll silverware, restock condiments, tidy areas, clean bathrooms.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation using safe handling practices.
• Keep management informed of issues and propose solutions.
• Help with putting away food deliveries and removing trash and recyclables.
• Assist other team members as directed by the manager on duty.
