Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey. You will support kitchen and facility operations, maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown as directed. We offer a flexible, supportive work environment with comprehensive benefits and site-specific perks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using sanitation chemicals.
• Restocks supplies like soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attends scheduled shifts on time.
• Other duties as assigned per account.
