Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils and equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing, kitchen and storage areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Empty trash, recycling and food waste and clean designated containers.
• Complete assigned daily and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
• Restock dishes, utensils and supplies throughout the shift.
• Safely use and maintain the dish machine, sinks and cleaning equipment.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, chemical-handling and workplace-safety procedures.
• Assist with basic food preparation using knives and other kitchen tools.
• Portion meats, vegetables and other ingredients as assigned.
• Prepare bulk food items, such as potato wedges, according to established recipes and instructions.
• Communicate equipment, sanitation or supply concerns promptly.
• Work closely with kitchen and restaurant team members to support efficient service.
• Complete other reasonable duties needed to support restaurant operations.
