Job summary

THE FORUM is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher Worker assists the Food and Beverage Department by maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, china, glassware, flatware, and back-of-house areas.

Hourly Wage: $20.94-$25.24 with Weekend Shift Differential Pay: $2 per hour. Employment is Full Time with PM Shift (1:00 pm – 9:30 pm); weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to work productively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to set up and operate dish-washing equipment.
• Able to perform strenuous physical labor, lifting, etc.
• Maintains a courteous and professional manner with staff, residents, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen area including ware washing and storage.
• Wash pots and deep-clean kitchen and equipment.
• Perform storeroom maintenance: receive, store, issue food items, rotate stock, keep storeroom clean.
• Deliver Food and Beverage carts to appropriate areas as needed.
• Perform general “heavy labor” as required by the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Sous Chef.
• Complete setup work for special events.
• Comply with all sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner and on a schedule determined by kitchen and dining operations.
• Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and comply with department dress code.
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions.
