Job summary

Ivy Park at Laguna Creek in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a friendly Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations in a senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group. You will transport and clean dishes, assist with kitchen cleanup, and help maintain a safe, sanitary dining environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has basic kitchen experience, is at least 18, and can pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of kitchen or similar experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screenings required.
• Vaccination/testing may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen after meals; wash, sanitize and return to storage.
• Assist with kitchen breakdown; clean dish room, dining areas and sinks; empty trash.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.
