Job summary

Selland’s Market Cafe, located in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Dishwasher/Steward to maintain cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and service ware in line with restaurant standards. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with reliable transportation essential.

Qualifications

• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stay positive, attentive and hospitable.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Valid Responsible Beverage Serving (RBS) Card.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or have valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• A Dishwasher/Steward keeps dishes, equipment, service ware, and restaurant property clean per standards and maintains orderly work areas; supports other staff as directed.
