Job summary

Selland’s Market Cafe, located in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Dishwasher/Steward to maintain cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and service ware in line with restaurant standards. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with reliable transportation essential.

We offer $17.00-$20.00 per hour (excluding tips) plus daily tip pool participation, free meals on shift, and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, and education

Qualifications

• Valid Responsible Beverage Serving (RBS) Card.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or have valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• A Dishwasher/Steward keeps dishes, equipment, service ware, and restaurant property clean per standards and maintains orderly work areas; supports other staff as directed.

Position Summary:

A Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for keeping dishes; equipment, service ware, and restaurant property clean according to Restaurant standards. Maintaining Restaurant work areas in a clean and orderly condition is required at all times. The dishwasher/steward is also responsible for assisting other employees as specified by their supervisors.
