Job summary

Sun Health Corporation in Surprise, AZ is hiring a Kitchen Steward (Dishwasher) to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. The role offers a $500 sign-on bonus for new hires and opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment.

Responsibilities include cleaning dishes and surfaces, assisting with setup, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards while supporting a vibrant team culture at Sun Health.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe knife handling.
• Must have Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
• Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required at time of hire.
• 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% employer match.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash tables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Clean dishes, glassware, flatware, equipment and other utensils per local law.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and buffet setup.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Label, date and properly store all food items.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Assist with food preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Attend facility in-services as required by supervisor and policy.
• Demonstrate Sun Health Vibrant Living culture and provide excellent service daily.

Key Responsibilities:

Your Qualifications:

• Must be able to demonstrate safe knife handling.
