Job summary

Highland Hills, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our mission of providing safe, clean dining services for residents. You will help maintain a sanitary kitchen environment and assist with daily meal service.

The role requires ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer Day 1 benefits, PTO, tuition reimbursement up to $4,000, and vendor discounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work with hot liquids, cleaning chemicals, and contaminated materials following safety guidelines.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in high-heat environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dishwashing and pot-sink area prior to meal service.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils throughout service and return items to proper storage locations.
• Maintain weekly cleaning schedules for kitchen and equipment.
• Dispose of trash, boxes, cans, and bottles in designated receptacles.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, walk-in refrigerators, and tile dining areas.
• Wash and maintain floor mats.
• Uphold strict sanitation procedures to ensure a healthy, safe dining environment.
• Follow established closing procedures daily.
