Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Clean the cooking areas, utensils, and equipment with cleaning chemicals in the kitchen as necessary.
• Safely handle food prep equipment such as dish machine, and knives. Wash and sorts trays, utensils, and equipment parts as needed.
• Empty trash cans and take out garbage; light stocking.
• Sweep, mop, and keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice (weather depending) and general cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Receive truck orders, verify correct inventory, and put all items away in an organized manner. Put away delivery orders according to food hierarchy.
• Practice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times.
• Assist with food prep and adhere to company recipes and production levels.
