Job summary

Outback Steakhouse, proudly operated by Out West Restaurant Group, is looking for a dependable Dishwasher to keep our dishes, cookware, and small wares spotless and ready for service. You will help manage sanitation, organize the dish area, and support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure guests have a smooth dining experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of BOH experience, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and flexibility to work opens, swings, and closes.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining organization and flow, while washing dishes and utensils.
• Practicing food safety and sanitation.
• Restocking kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift.
• General cleaning of the restaurant.
• Pace and organization of dish execution.
• Understanding procedure for operating the dish machine and chemical components.
• Keeping floors clean and dry.
• Maintains and inspects receiving, preparation, production and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Corrects unsafe practices or conditions, notifies management.
