Job Summary:

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in sanitary condition. Responsibilities include:

1. Scraping and rinsing food from dishes, washing by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washing pots, pans, and trays following procedures.
3. Polishing silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
4. Following safety procedures and maintaining proper temperatures and chemical levels.
5. Keeping the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
6. Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors.
7. Cleaning worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
8. Removing trash and maintaining trash cans.
9. Transferring supplies and equipment as needed.
10. Assisting with loading and unloading supplies.
11. Performing other duties as assigned.
