Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver and cleans equipment using appropriate methods to ensure sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Removes trash and handles disposal as required.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; assists in loading/unloading as needed.
