Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for immediate full-time and part-time DISHWASHER roles at University of Redlands, Burbank, CA 91504. Shifts include weekday and weekend hours with pay ranging from $19.50 to $20.00 per hour. One year of dishwashing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures and ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods and maintains sanitation standards.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and proper chemical handling.
• Keeps the dish area orderly and safe; sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of waste per guidelines.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading as needed.
